Loved the commentary on bunny hopping and bug abuse. Great work as always.

as someone who can’t stand source i feel like this game was made for me

  3. What? People actually want to have pattern recoil? What kind of retardation is that? It completely removes the point of recoil if you can learn to control it. 1.6 players are babies.

    • You really can’t understand that pro players want patterned recoil? I’m pretty sure controlling the recoil takes skill and not any old chump can instantly pull it off for every single weapon perfectly, its just another skill gap thing isn’t it?

      • Oh sure, but then after 1 hour of playing around with it you pretty much master it, after years of playing competitively there’ll be no such thing as recoil for those people, so then it doesn’t even matter that there is a recoil, so let’s just turn it off altogether!

It’s the most noobish thing I ever heard about competitive play, those players just have to spray their gun? What happened to carefully trying not to shoot too often so that recoil wouldn’t hinder you? Since when is there a pattern to recoil? It’s fucking stupid as hell.

        • So having bullets fly RANDOMLY at some point of the crosshair makes the game more competitive? Sure buddy.

I agree with this guy, but I also agree with pattern-aiming, because, if you haven’t noticed, you can just *click* *click* or *pull trigger* *pull trigger*. You EASILY get used to this, and learn to hit it properly in order to heavily reduce, or completely negate all recoil or whatever you call it when the crosshair gets bigger, BUT “pattern” recoil is pretty realistic, because you’re not ever going to get much ‘different’ recoil, besides how you hold the gun in REAL shooting, and maybe such tiny things as how the bullet is loaded internally (powder, all that)

  4. I’m wondering if the console people are gonna be confused and ask which button aims down sights…

  5. They really did a great job with that one.
