I didn’t even play EvE that much and I knew who VileRat was. Huge influence on the community, it was impressive. Huge loss to the EvE community.
And I was playing on default, so I guess it’s easy. Also, I’ve come across some info that shows that the soldiers reaction time and accuracy is inhuman, like milliseconds and some kind of never miss program, so that’s why they are difficult on hard.

Woah, I don’t get the massive amounts of shit thrown at ARMA 3. I mean, I can understand why someone doesn’t like ARMA 2, but the ARMA devs completely acknowledged each these issues and were working on fixing them. But because you don’t like the game, you want to shut down discussion on the lead devs’ arrest under the excuse that it’s “political?” Uh, weren’t you just talking about Sean Smith’s death? I’m sure if you can touch the murder of an EVE player without political discussion, you can discuss the ramifications of ARMA 3 without politics involved.
Also, there was no Cameron Rogers in this podcast and it showed. No hilarious puns.
You’re misconstruing the facts here. I was the one who said it was a bad game. Tim was the one who said it held no relevance to the game as they were simply there on vacation, but Tim actually enjoys Arma II.
On top of that, the only ramifications it holds on Arma 3 is that it’s probably not on schedule for release anymore. What else is there to say that involves the game itself?
I didn’t shut down the discussion based on the fact that it was a “political” discussion. I shut it down because it has very little to do with gaming. They confirmed that they were there for tourism purposes.
I feel like I let everyone down.

Nice to see the podcast is back. I don’t think Dragon age 2 was that bad. It’s not like the £40 I spent pre-ordering it was a complete waste of money, right? I’m going to go back to sobbing quietly in a corner now.
That feel when you listen to the podcast just to hear Tim’s voice again.
I think nintendo isn’t making that much a of a profit from each WiiU unit sold. The WiiU is selling at about the same price as a ps3 but at the same time has better hardware. Not amazingly better hardware but still better and comes with a tablet. I think they might actually be selling this system at a loss.
I doubt Overstrike (now Fuse) tried to differentiate itself by becoming generic FPS fodder.
