Matt’s going solo for tonight, bringing you a few of the more interesting bits of gaming news from around the net. Short, sweet and to the point, Newsflash aims to condense the major headlines of the day into a brief couple of minutes.
- A teaser image is going around for tomorrow’s Hitman: Absolution trailer (yes, a teaser of a trailer). The image depicts a couple of gun-toting nuns. This could mean anything, but probably means multiplayer. Brace for suck:

Some of the best PS3 games have been rereleased digital-only pakced with all of their DLC, all at crazy discounts. Confession time, I’ve never played Red Dead Redemption:

“This could mean anything, but probably means multiplayer. Brace for suck.”
O ye, of little faith.
People said the same thing of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Dead Space 2 and Max Payne 3 (among other examples), yet the multiplayer for these games were pretty good.
The multiplayer for Asscreedbro died pretty quickly once people realized that they didn’t have to sneak. Dead Space 2 multiplayer barely lasted 2 months.
Multiplayer could be good if it was based around your typical Hitman style gameplay. Given how Absolution’s being promoted as basically a 3rd person shooter with the option of stealth, I don’t have high hopes that this will be how it works. Get ready for perks and killstreaks.
