This week: Portal 2 editor, new Beyond Good and Evil footage, Valve/Blizzard lawsuit, Company of Heroes 2, Bioshock Infinite delay, Black Mesa Source interview, and a rather tangential discussion about Zelda.

loving the scream, couldn’t stop laughing.
Wow, this is leaps and bounds better than the other podcast. Wish I could be a part of this thing.
Thank you! I feel like we are starting to get the hang of things with this podcast now that we’ve had a good chunk of practice.
Hello, Catsman here, I edit the other podcast. I’ve never really done podcast editing before, so I’d like to hear your opinions for what could be improved (Pacing? Length? Features? News? etc…).
By other podcast do you mean Gentleman Discussing Vidya? I couldn’t stand much more than 3 minutes of that, but it mostly had to do with the high concentration of annoying voices, terrible sound quality from some of the podcasters, and the fact that the intro lasted far too long. You should really try working on a better intro, since now that I look back on it after skipping that, it really isn’t too bad (then again I’m only a few minutes in).
Fix dem jank mics, I wanna listen to vocal chords, not a robot static storm.
Thanks. The next two podcasts will be guest edited, so I can’t do anything in the mastering, but I’ll attempt to get everyone’s mics configured right and get our editor to cut the cold open.
Just wanted to drop by and say I’m really enjoying your podcasts.
I wasn’t so sure when you guys started, but I think it’s growing on me, these get better every week! Keep up the good work!
Scream cracked me up
This podcast is totally awesome guys, becoming one of my favourite gaming ones.
God…the first 20 minutes had so much bickering. What the hell was the point?
I take that back…The whole thing is filled with a pointless argument. What the hell was gained from all that?
It’s discussion between four video game loving individuals with radically different viewpoints. Nothing to be ashamed of. If everyone always agreed with each other all the time it would be boring.
I used to listen to this podcast called Dragon Age Podcast. When Dragon Age II came out, they got into this 30-minute argument that ended in the podcast director crying (sort of–you could hear it in his voice) because of how angry he was over the game. That’s one of the more memorable moments of the podcasts I’ve listened to, and I’m a podcast junkie.
… unfortunately, I’m pretty sure that was the last podcast they ever made–probably because no one wants to hear about Dragon Age II.
Debates are great fun as long as you avoid repeating yourself. If people are repeating things over and over, it’s time to move on to a different topic.
Also, are the portraits of Cameron and the bunch based on actual pictures?
Either way, one thing definitely great about this site is the art that goes into some of it.
