After what seems like an eternity, Irrational Games has announced the release of its first piece of story-based DLC, Burial at Sea – Episode One on November 12th.
The two-part expansion takes place in Rapture on New Year’s Eve 1958, a year prior to the events of the original Bioshock. Booker and Elizabeth play the roles of a film noir-inspired investigator and his client. New additions have been made in the form of weapons and the return of Bioshock’s weapon wheel. Old Man Winter, a new plasmid inspired by a fan design, freezes enemies and can create new platforms.
The DLC has been priced at $14.99 / £9.99 and will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
