A countdown went up on the homepage for the popular Japanese dream simulator game Yume Nikki. Nobody’s quite sure what the big reveal is going to be, but popular speculation suggests that it may have something to do with merchandising for the game, or maybe even the arrival of version 1.0 of the game after years of waiting (Yume Nikki is currently on version 0.10). In any case, the clock is scheduled to run down today, so keep an eye out for whatever spookiness is to come.

If http://yaraon.blog109.fc2.com/blog-entry-14796.html is any indication it looks like it might be getting a novel, pretty lame.
So it’s a novel, comic, and CD, all Kikiyama endorsed. Based on interpretations of the artists, though. So none of this is canon.
Also CD is being done with a vocaloid, which is kind of a mixed bag.
Well, it wasn’t exactly a disappointment for me, it it’s not a huge deal altogether.
