Oh hey, it’s time for that announcement that done got announced last Monday. After countless delays, it looks like Torchlight 2 will finally be coming out on September 20th. Unless of course it gets delayed again, but let’s not jinx it. The news came out of a post by Travis Baldree on the official Runic Games forums.

The official Release Date for Torchlight II is Thursday, September 20th, 2012.
3 weeks away!

Good stuff. Kind of on the very edge of that originally promised Summer 2012 release date, but at least it’s coming out at all. Between this and Path of Exile, it looks like ARPG fans will be locked up in their rooms for the next decade or so. Goodbye free time.
Are you joking? Sep 22 is Borderlands 2, what am I supposed to do?
My only question: Will they offer a retail/DVD release?
I don’t like paying money only for code/air, but hopefully, they will offer boxed copies somehow.
They will be putting out a boxed release for Torchlight 2.
