Do you remember those little tasters that developers used to release with games, little snippets of the games that were playable so that people knew whether a game was fun and appealed to them or not without pirating it? You know, so they could buy it. You remember what they were called. Say it with me. “Deeeh-mooo.”
That’s right. Well we have one right here. For Sleeping Dogs, the open world in-spirit sequel to the True Crime games. So if your friends have been hounding you about getting it or maybe you were just caught napping by the release and you’ve heard nothing about it, the demo is on the Steam marketplace right now. Perhaps, like me, you can play it and discover that the title is horribly misleading, and post angrily on the internet afterwards about how you refuse to buy it on principle for its near-complete lack of unconscious canines. What, you wouldn’t do that?
Nobody is impressed with your lies, reader. Nobody.
