Resident Evil 6: More Gameplay and New Modes

Capcom just released another video on Resident Evil 6, this time revealing that Ada Wong will be a playable character. It seems to play with a heavier focus on shooting instead of exploration and puzzles. Previously released videos only seem to confirm that assumption. Capcom has also added mechanics like crouching and diving for a more action oriented game. Zombies look like more like spooky skeletons. Co-Op makes a prominent return, allowing for at least three players to take on a mutated naked spider lady. Additionally, Capcom has added a Dark Souls-like mode where players can invade another person’s multiplayer match. Think of it as a mix between Left 4 Dead and the Souls series.

The video has also been edited in a way to make it look more cinematic, lacking any menus or health bars. But, this may be the new direction that Resident Evil is taking with regenerating health? Watch the video for yourself and leave your thoughts below.

Thrilling, isn’t it?!

The only part that bothered me was when Ada’s gun clipped through her leg.

    At least it ain’t pre-rendered.

  2. You can definitely see your expertise in the work you write. The sector hopes for more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how they believe. At all times follow your heart.

I will definitely pick this game up, for the multiplayer content. I absolutely hate the senseless direction the series has been driven to, but I simply can’t say no to a good co-op experience, and the invasion stuff sounds potentially awesome.
