I don’t think Square Enix is taking the hint.
Confirmed this week in an issue of Famitsu, it looks like Yoshinori Kitase and crew are gearing up for another entry in Final Fantasy XIII‘s “Lightning Saga”. When did that become a thing, and why?
Work on the project has only just begun, and Kitase says that we can expect more details, including the game’s title, which I have a sneaking suspicion will rhyme with ”Spinal Manatee Umpteen Bees“, at the Final Fantasy Anniversary event set to go down on August 31st in Tokyo.
All I wanted is for Versus to come out.

But well, after waiting so long for them to stop ruining the franchise further, all I have left are my screams of agony and despair at seeing my only beloved franchise being mauled into a puddle of whiny emotionality and atrociously wrecked gameplay.
