Skyrim’s vampire-themed Dawnguard DLC was originally announced as a 30-day Xbox 360 exclusive. Thirty days later it remains that way, and in that time we’ve heard no mention from Bethesda of when the DLC is expected to hit other systems.
As tweeted by Pete Hines, marketing VP over at Bethesda, “We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I’d tell you.” He later followed this statement up by saying, “I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded. Not that news is never coming.”
Obviously Dawnguard will eventually surface on the PC and PS3. Those systems have substantial communities for the game (well, the PC does) and Bethesda would be crazy NOT to port the DLC to them. I’d be willing to bet it happens in the next week or two. Still, just another reminder of how annoying and pointless timed exclusives can be.
We’ve reached out to Bethesda for comment and will update this story with further information should we get any.

It’s like they hate money or something
No, they love money, which is why they signed a timed exclusive deal with Microsoft.
i figured it would be out next tuesday
PC launch’s are normally done on Tuesdays… i think
Oh well, Xbox 360 users need something to make up for having the worst gaming platform of all time, even if it is terrible DLC made by a terrible developer for a terrible game.
Microsoft must have paid them for more than 30 days.
I believe it already was brought over from the 360 by the fans unofficially, though that might be a rumor.
