- Check out Offensive Combat, a browser FPS brought to you by one of the guys that used to work on COD! I think the combat will be offensive because you get to humiliate your opponents, or be crude in general.
- Someone tweeted the redesign of the Wii-U controller. It was promptly deleted, and the man who tweeted it will never be seen again.
- The British Guy that everyone loves to hate uploaded some serious Planetside 2 footage.
- The monolithic casual game company Zynga is having their stock plummet. Ironically, this is because Facebook went public for trading. The same company that made Zynga millions could devalue Zynga.
- Project Icebreaker sounds like something from a bad spy movie. Activision hacked the email accounts and phones of the Infinity Ward founders to find an excuse to fire them.
- Minecraft for the 360 sells a million copies in a week. Maybe now Notch can buy a new hat.
- EA will let crowd funded games get on Origin for 3 months with no cost to the developer. This doesn’t mean that games like Wasteland 2 are Origin exclusive, and it doesn’t mean that anyone will actually start buying games through Origin.
- Capcom are reevaluating their disc locked content policy. I imagine that the entire game will be locked from now on.
- Sony is cool with used games, which makes me slightly more optimistic about the future consoles.
