A next-gen port of Square-Enix and Crystal Dynamic’s 2013 reboot Tomb Raider has been confirmed for release on XBox One and Playstation 4.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was listed as a pre-order title available at GameStop chain stores nationwide. It is currently listed as a title for both next-gen systems, and is available for pre-order. The rumored port was first spotted in November via a listing on the Italian version of online retailer Amazon.com. The listing was removed shortly thereafter.

Gather Your Party has contacted GameStop for confirmation of this pre-order listing.

Update: Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was officially unveiled on today’s online stream of Spike TV’s VGX Awards. New features include a redesigned Lara (again?), more detailed environments, implemented TressFX hair physics, and all of the previously released downloadable content in one package.

The new port is being developed by Crystal Dynamics as well as United Front Games, best known for the 2012 pork bun simulator Sleeping Dogs.

No PC release, which means that we are in for millions of posts about foxes and grapes again, even if the game turns out to suck.
