Reply wiredsonic says: 2012-11-09 at 6:12 PM This comic depicts so well what I’m starting to hate so much lately. Reply WC Pemm says: 2012-11-09 at 6:37 PM Is this a tribute to or a rip-off of the original Eegra comic? I can’t tell. http://i.imgur.com/KmsKi.jpg Reply Kyle Johnson says: 2012-11-09 at 7:18 PM I would say it is an “Homage” to the original comic. You are supposed to know about the original in order for this one to have its real punchline. Reply WC Pemm says: 2012-11-09 at 7:42 PM Works for me! Reply nevers says: 2012-11-10 at 2:45 AM I didn’t believe it. That was painful. Reply Evilagram says: 2012-11-09 at 9:50 PM Tribute, homage, or rip off, it’s lazy and unfunny. Even the artwork itself conveys less personality than the original. Stop using flash to draw if you don’t know how to use it. The line quality here is horrible. Learn what the smooth tool does. Reply conlac1 says: 2012-11-09 at 10:04 PM jeez man its just a webcomic i mean its not like it was made by buckly or anything Reply Evilagram says: 2012-11-10 at 6:45 AM I’m a d/ic/k, it’s my obligation. Also buckley has written funnier and more original comics than this. Reply Awkward says: 2012-11-10 at 3:36 PM Ok cool you dont like this comic. You’ve made your point, also you are really going to complain about line quality jesus man. Talk about nitpicking and don’t say it isn’t. Reply Evilagram says: 2012-11-12 at 7:49 AM Flash makes ugly lines. If you dick around with the smooth tool and adjust manually with the selection and subselection tools you can get clean and smooth lines with personality instead rather than letting flash’s awful smoothing algorithms ruin whatever you were trying to draw. I suppose I should also bitch about how the hands look, and how the teeth on the bulldog are flat decals on his face rather than curved cones like they should be. And how the mouth on the bulldog in panel 3 is off model. And I know I’ll repeat that it conveys less personality. The faces are difficult to read The cat’s expression in panel 4 is bizarre due to that mouth shape. In general the feeling I get is that the artist has no experience drawing most of these mouth shapes and has no idea how to extrapolate from actual expressions and in a desperate bid to attempt personality, makes it up. Reply Awkward says: 2012-11-10 at 3:37 PM “Line quality” Really? Reply Will says: 2012-11-10 at 2:43 AM HA! EEGRA REFERENCE Reply GonnaGetDruids says: 2012-11-10 at 11:49 PM But why would you be eating Doritos™ without a refreshing Mountain Dew™ to go along with it! Did you know you can get Double XP™ just by purchasing it! It doesn’t get any better than that!™ Reply Mr. Tastix says: 2012-11-11 at 4:04 AM The sad part is I had actual no problem with Doritos or Mountain Dew and now people get heavily stereotyped because of the food they eat? Eh, fuck it. I’m still going to buy them. Reply madatom says: 2012-11-11 at 8:50 AM that marketing campaign never happened in Australia instead we got an energy drink version of Mountain Dew, and in Australia we sill have the entire word on the bottle instead of just mt dew in americlap land Reply Jay F says: 2012-11-11 at 2:18 PM There has to be a better way to get your point across.
